SafariSister home based Jewelry CO-OP in action. Photo collage from this mornings jewelry exchange with Pasqula. Pasqula is a young mother (in black tank) that supports her family (this is one of 6 families now that i am working with). She is learning about metal work and jewelry findings from me and I am learning how they utilize various weaving techniques. Together we hope to mix those two knowledge bases and create woven jewelry in better metals and stones. oooh i’m excited. Delightful family — the SafariSister together with these Mayan women artisans are helping each other to change the world - a win, win, win collaboration!
